Jimmy Dean - Fire (Tidy) Click the link below to buy http://www.trackitdown.net/artist/155350/jimmy-dean.html Artist Quotes: Jimmy's tunes are a must in my cd wallet. A great example of top notch hard dance. I recently remixed his tune 'don't give in' which was one of my biggest tunes for the year reaching Number One on Tid's hard dance chart. A producer to watch! BK (Riot recordings) I’ve been watching Jimmy’s productions just get better and better. For me his tunes have filled a void in the hard house scene. Picking up on the classic ‘Trade’ sound his productions are good solid chunky hard house at it’s best, and will rock any dance floor Andy Farley Jimmy's productions are a main stay in our sets, dance floor friendly no-nonsense hard house for the masses. His recent 'Don’t Give Up' single which I signed to tidy has been one of our biggest releases of 2009 Sam Townend (Head of Music,Tidy Trax) Jimmy Dean has hit the production scene hard this year with a constant flow of quality pure hard house releases... Whether we have been playing an early, peak, or end of night set there has always been a new Jimmy Dean tune ready in the wallet to fit the occasion JP & Jukesy (Deprivation Recordings) Since first appearing on the scene with his productions Jimmy has built a sound that is recognized as him instantly: A gift that has concreted Jimmy as a credible producer of 2009 and one that just grows with every release. To have had an EP from him on Toolbox has been an honour. I’ll be watching for his next move. Nik Denton (Director - Toolbox Recordings) Jimmy Dean has always wanted to create his own sound in his productions, something he has managed to do. All his recent tracks have a strong club feel to them with an emphasis on creating big crowd reactions. Having worked with and engineered for Jimmy on many of his tracks over the last few years, I have come to understand his music tastes (and his high level of enthusiasm). He has strived to include tuff beats and baselines whilst still managing to keep the tracks funky and very dj savvy, hard without the filth and uplifting without the cheese. He steers clear of following trends but instead, carves his own well deserved niche in the hard house scene. Dom Sweeten (Spinball Recordings) Jimmy has come from seemingly nowhere with a raft of some of the best hard house productions around, full of the vibe of the moment as the scene yearns for the heady days of Trade where it all began. Immediate signings to Tidy, Toolbox and Deprivation don't come easily and this is testament to the continued and effortless quality of his work, in particular with Vintage, In The Clink and Hysteria which I've been hammering. Hopefully he will continue putting the effort in and producing the goods - it's very rare that someone can produce so many tracks which all seem to hit the spot Dave Curtis (Mix Mag) Jimmy's Forthcoming 2010 Dates Here's a few of my Tour dates over the next few weeks.. 14.08.2010 Classique @ Careys (Coventry) 29.08.2010 Xstatic Garden Party Festival @ Railway Terrace (Swadlincote) 04.09.2010 The UK Indoor Indoor Dance Festival @ The Emporium 04.09.2010 Revolution @ The Vaults (Dublin) 25.09.2010 Euphonic Fuzion 1st Birthday @ The Box (Crewe) 02.10.2010 Insomniacz @ MAGNA (Sheffield) 08.10.2010 Escape @ Leicester Sq (Leicester) 31.10.2010 Storm & Tidy Halloween Fright Night @ The Emporium (Coalville) 20.10.2010 Ravers Reunited 4th Birthday feat Storm @ The Emporium (Coalville) 27.10.2010 Atomik Weekender 4 @ Prestatyn (Wales) On Radio One To book Jimmy or Storm or Xstatic Email: Jimmy@xstaticclubbing.co.uk or call 01530 815278 Happy Summer Jimmy Dean 'Magic' Featured in Mix Mag September 2010 Mix: JIMMY DEAN - 'UNPREDICTABLE' |
